I am Dr. Jayanta Das, Assistant Professor of Geography at Rampurhat College, holding a PhD from the University of North Bengal. As an academician and researcher specializing in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, and Environmental Studies, my work focuses on sustainable development, natural resource management, and geospatial data analysis. With expertise in climate change, natural hazards, and RS & GIS, I have authored over 80 research papers and books with Springer and Elsevier, led ICSSR and ANRF-funded projects, and mentored researchers globally under the CV Raman Fellowship.
